The Bible Study and Devotion Center was started in 1999 by Jerry Hemmingson with the intent of providing Bible Studies for the common person. In his own studies Jerry realized that Bible Study materials were becoming more and more designed for theologians leaving the novice dependent on trained ministers to study the Bible effectively.
The reason for bringing Bibledevotion.com to the web is so that once again there can be Bible studies that are meaningful to every day life. The Bible truly has something for everyone and we want you to know that God is speaking to the life you live. It seems that all too often Bible instructors get so involved in the history and depth of the Bible they forget that its first and most important intent is to guide people to Christ. It is our aim to provide that simple information of living God pleasing lives. We want everyone to know that salvation is theirs. God has a plan of salvation that cannot go wrong because it is executed by His perfect Son. There is no cost to being saved.
